Biography
Florence Bergeaud-Blackler has a doctorate in anthropology (HDR) and is a research fellow at the CNRS. Her work focuses on legalistic Islamisms, the halal market and the Muslim Brotherhood. She is the author of several reference works devoted to the brotherism. She is president of the European Centre for Research and Information on Brotherism (CERIF, Paris), a member of the steering committee of the Centre de Recherche pour la Sécurité Intérieure (CRSI) and a member of the advisory board of the Academy for Democracy and Islam (Fraknfurt). She was made a Chevalier de la Légion d'honneur in 2024.
